Take the Garberweg road at the parish church of San Martino and continue up towards the Schildhof Steinhaus farmstead, a castle-like edifice above the locality. At the wooden bridge to the right just below the Schildhof farmstead, follow the sign marked Teufelsteinweg (which translates as Devil’s Stone Way). On a rock positioned in the middle of the trail is what appears to resemble the hoof-print of a devil etched into the stone.
In winter some sections of the route may be covered in snow or ice.
The path is not suitable for pushchairs.
From Merano / Meran to the Passeier Valley in direction of Passo Rombo / Passo Giovo until S. Martino / St. Martin.
